Commitment Typing involves compiling and verifying data obtained from title searches, lien searches, and property tax reports. Key details such as vesting, chain of title, mortgages, judgments/liens, and tax information are accurately entered into the client’s application system in accordance with the abstract report. This process culminates in the preparation and generation of the final title commitment report.
